Oh boy, I even split them one prisoner per town, just to keep them lonely. Every time I could, I captured those bastards and put them in my prisoner towers. One by one have I conquered remaining kingdoms. But boy, they were just about to regret their poor choices. I was a new ruler, probably without a right to rule in their perception, maybe too violent or fanatic. This is when I swore not to look back no more and show no mercy to my foes, especially those, who stabbed me in the back. After some time I lost like 1/3 of it to West Seaxe only.
TAKING GRANTED LANDS WITH THEM!By this time I had over half of the map conquered. I was a good lord.īut then I noticed, that some of them transfered to other countries. I granted them lands and titles, tried to make them happy. When I had like half of the map and things were going smooth, I accepted many scared-to-death refugee lords from other countries, who decided to bow before my might.
So after I got powerful enough, I started to conquer all Englaland (and force christianity by building churches in every single town/village, for those filthy pagans!).
